We’re back at it!

A new chapter, a new home and a fresh renovation adventure ahead.

After selling our Bay Builds project, we packed up the family and hit the road for a four-month caravan adventure across WA (you can read more about that here). Even while we were off-grid (thank you, Starlink!) we were scouring the Real Estate pages searching for the next project.

Ideally we were hoping to lock another project in so that we had something ready to jump into once we arrived home. But after months of searching, nothing quite felt like the one. We were very specific about what we were after this time around: a home close to the water, in a location we could imagine ourselves living, and great bones for us to work with. After the drawn-out process of two new builds we’ve been excited to return to our renovation roots. With nothing standing out to us, we were even looking outside our postcode for the first time in years – as far south as Patonga.

After narrowly missing out on a renovation we thought was ‘the one’ we shifted our focus back to our postcode and decided to look at one we’d had our eye on very close to home. The minute we stepped inside the Shelly Beach home, I knew: we’d found our next renovation. She’s a beauty with the most fabulous bones, and we cannot wait to help this home shine again.
