We’re stoked to be welcoming a new little one in late May 2018.  One of the first questions we’ve been asked by many people is “Wow, did you want them that close?” – Kyal and his brother are 11 months apart!! He has always wanted to have our children close together, so an 18 month gap sounds perfect to me!  The past year really has gone by in the blink of an eye. Everyone warns you that babies grow up fast, but it’s not until you have your own that you realise just how quickly. Although the days seem long at times (hello teething), the months just pass in a flash.

I didn’t escape morning sickness – so the past few months haven’t been as enjoyable as I would have liked. All year I’d been looking forward to styling Long Jetty Reno, but when the time came the nausea really did put a dampener on things, but we got there in the end!

Now that I’m into my second trimester, I’m focusing on enjoying this pregnancy more than I did first time around. When I was pregnant with Ziya, I was really not prepared for how much my body would change, and it wasn’t until the last couple of months that I really began to embrace the miracle of growing a human. Now that I have Ziya to look at every day, it blows my mind even more to know that we’ll meet another little Demmrich next year.
